Update: Obama's Citizenship question PUT TO REST

I am not going to say I told you so, but here it is:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/12/15/obama-birth-certificate-s_n_151103.html

The SCOTUS kicked out the lawsuit, the electoral college has voted, and it's locked down!

He's your president, too, yahoos, whether you like it or not. As for me I LOVE IT!

Take that, beeeyatches!

It's sad that it was even a question in the first place. A lot of stupid people out there.... and they keep breeding!

Hi-thanks for the kind note. Aren't Margaret and Helen great!!!
One of them lives in Austin, TX, where my daughter lives, and she has sent her an e-mail hoping that we can get together over Christmas while I am there, but so far, no response. She may think we're stalkers. ;_)
Interesting that a lot of us (readers) are crafters-and no-I don't sell mine-too many takers in my family!

Hi again Skyewriter!

Sorry, but it isn't locked down yet. The Wrotnowski case was denied (meaning the court didn't hear the case) because of lack of "standing", not for lack of merit. (None of the Obama-related cases have been heard, so there have been no rulings on his citizenship or eligibility.)
The Electoral College has voted, but the Congress has yet to count the votes, that happens on Jan. 8th, I think. That is also when any objections are brought up.

It would be great if Mr. Obama would release his long-form birth certificate to a court and simply end all of this. Lock it down, Mr. Obama!

Anonymous, as a lawyer, you must be kidding. How you haven't been sanctioned for bringing meritless claims I cannot understand. Obama is the President, these legal flim flams are a joke and every half way decent legal mind in the country knows that.

Get a life and deal with it.

BAM, cmacivor!

I've been trying to stay away from the nut-job blogs that are still frothing over this silliness.

I was having fun a few weeks ago poking them, but now, well, it's just plain sad that some folks won't let this go.
