Moving is Madness

Hate. Hate. Hate. Moving.

And I am generally not a hater.

Sorry to have been lax on the updates with the health care bill. Haven't had any time... Just sick about the so-called "debate" that is going on between the yellers and screamers and fucktards who obviously haven't so much as glanced at the thing.

If you are a conservative stumbling upon this blog:

Please do yourself and your fellow Americans a favor. Exercise your right to inform yourself instead of reading/listening to what *other* people are writing/saying/lying about this legislation.

No death panels. No loss of coverage you like. No getting denied coverage for pre-existing conditions. No lifetime limits on coverage. Nothing awful, horrific or bad.

You are a paranoid, sad, freak if you think this bill is a concoction of evil-doers.

The only bad guys are the insurance companies and you are helping them keep sick people sick and the bad guys' pockets lined with blood money. YOU are a death panel if you don't stop this insanity. Please click on the previous sentence for an excellent argument about the lack of ethics of the GOP and big money behind this absurdity.

Lives or money?

Says a lot about a person given which side they choose...

How about Obama giving free health care to his countrymen in Kenya at American taxpayers' expense?! Okay, I made that one up (hoping maybe FOX reads this blog and might offer me my own show)...

I can't help wondering now if the conservatives been using the birthers as a way of simple expanding the limits of the credible--so that they can appear reasonable as they say "of course, the president who's going to impose socialism and murder your grandparents was born in this country..."

I have come to the conclusion that there are so many American people that have just become desensitized to the underlying racism and bigotry that is behind everything that has been happening. These are people that are just ripe for the picking and that is exactly what is being done to them. Their brains are being picked at by a manipulative media that only wishes to make their ratings better. God help us all if this does not end soon.

Good Luck on the move. I don't envy you.

Moving sucks! Our last move was so crazy that I think that we may stay here for a while just so we don't have to pack everything up again.

Good luck to you!

It's not the idiot birfers or even the truly evil multi-national Healthco's we have to fear here: It's the cowardice & corruption of our own Democratic "leadership."

If and when we don't get immediate comprehensive universal single-payer national healthcare with opt-outs for idiots, it'll be Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al to blame. Get ready for a BIG moving day for them if they fail to deliver on healthcare.

The vast majority of Americans support single-payer, despite the Mad Hatters' tea parties being blown out of proportion in the tame corporate media. If we don't get it, we'll know exactly what's wrong with our system: Corporate money & influence. That has to be job one, getting rid of it. Otherwise, there will be no "CHANGE," ever.

I have family in England, and they have public health care there you know. It's a huge joke to them, that there's even any argument over it. They think we're all nuts here.

My cousin had surgery there, she chose to go to a private doctor and pay the difference. The government reimbursed her for the public part of it. I don't understand what the big deal is.

Maybe it's because I don't understand insanity. LOL

Moving sucks. I hope you get moved and settled quickly. And I hope you don't have to move again very soon. We just moved, what...less than six months ago (I think). We love this house and have decided that we are not moving again until we buy a house and then that will be the last time.

Stupid people suck, too.

I kid you not, the biggest metro area paper here snapped a photo of some fuckheads holding a sign outside of a town hall meeting with our U.S. rep that said, "Stop health care reform." Stop your own health care, you idiots.

Sad sad time we live in.

I want to say something inspirational, but I can't process anything at this point.
Good luck with your move.

I just finished reading a great post from a blogger from Englan. His take on this whole debacle is very interesting.

Do not envy you at all right now. Moving is indeed hell and veritable proof that satan is the patron saint of moving!

Take it easy now and then, those boxes are in no hurry to get UNpacked. Trust me! There are still plenty of boxes around here that have remained peacefully packed for more than two years now!

I HATE the misinformation flying around. I can tell you, I am doing my part to pass on correct info - and encourage those with at least half a brian to read the bill - whic I also impress..is a "draft."
