...And Liberals are the "New Socialists"?
It seems we Americans narrowly escaped losing our First Amendment rights according to a newly released memo from October 2003. Here's a link to the 37 page text in all of its nauseating glory.
Newsweek reports that the order was only officially revoked October 2008; three months before Bush left office.
And progessives are the Socialists?
Seems we had an administration full of them for the last 8 years...

Martial law is what he asked for and that is the power that he claimed to have. he monitored the press throughout his term as he did other Americans, lied about it and then admitted it.
Yoo is a joke. There was no valid legal basis asserted in those memos for Bush's unheard of executive powers.
We cannot have a dictator again. This is why we can't have people like this in power. they are not rational and don't see the problem. They read a lot into things and then things spin out of control as this presidency did.
Liberal is the new code word for Mud People. And that is a shit magnet for all manner of negative labels and stereoptypes, racial-ideological and religious.
Could you just imagine if this had come out about a Democratic President? The neonuts would be out in force even more so than they are now, screaming TREASON from the roof tops.
The problem with liberals is that we are TOO NICE and we tend to forgive and forget for the benefit of OUR Country. We cannot let that happen this time around.
I haven't forgiven anyone, and I have known this for several years. I just don't see assassination as the answer.
I have no desire to go to jail for what would essentially be a futile act.
You might as well throw rocks at the moon for all the affect you could have in the greater scheme of things.
Impeachment is far better in my opinion and barring that, let History be the judge.
