Back to where the country was 100 yrs. ago...well, we certainly wouldn't have a black president...and no women voting...gays and lesbians deep in the closet for fear or death...people, including small children working seven days a week for next to nothing...government of, by, and for white people...non-whites lynched for looking at white people the wrong way...
I cannot believe how stupid some people are. No wonder our country is losing competition in the global marketplace. Idiots. Simpletons. Boobs. Those are the kinds of people who travel abroad and give America a worse name than Bush did. Actually, I take that back. Those xenophobes don't travel to ferrin' countries.
That sound you hear is me gagging. Ick.
Oh my gawd! It is so hard to listen to these people, nothing makes any sense...
The man in the second video is incredibly brave.
I have only one word. Sad. I saw some signs people were holding that read "we came unarmed. this time".
As a lawful gun owner that scares the crap out of me. Why are these idiots who argue for less gun-control threatening to show up with guns at protests and rallies? Like you wrote a while back skyewriter "because I can" is no excuse. If our culture is so antigun, why did the laws just pass allowing guns in national parts?
I noticed that one man with the dissenting voice and the sign. He was unarmed.
What amazes me is
That "Tea Partiers are just average Americans."
Really? So are the rest of us. And the Tea Partiers weren't kept in *Bush Free Speech Zones.
As for the Gun Issue. My husband was looking to join a gun club so he could have a local place for target practice. He ended up not joining because that Gun Club had to repeatedly correct its own members about posting pictures of our current president on the targets.
Yea, we like our security clearances than you very much Tea Partiers. That way we can have a job and not be a family of unemployable idiots blaming all our problems on liberals just before we go all Bell Tower on someone {note sarcasm}
Never doubt it. The term Liberal is the new word for *Mud People. They don't see Dems as the other half of the country, or Liberals as an aspect of political expression by other Americans. Liberals and Democrats have been demonized.
It's crazy. Completely crazy. There is a strong undercurrent of fear in this country. Fear of the future. Fear of technology. Fear of anything and everything that isn't like "me".
That fear is fed by corporate greed who wants the masses to consume but not to conserve; to absorb their talking points unquestioningly and to fight for their right to be screwed.
